मंथन

A screenwriter's tool for writers the industry forgot.

AI that knows what Indian buyers want. Trust infrastructure every pitch deserves. Voice in your language. Built on the side of the writer.

Problem

Indian writers are not short on craft. They're short on signal—what buyers are greenlighting while you're still rewriting page one.

The room moves faster than your Final Draft folder. Mandates shift, slates turn over, and the only thing worse than a rejection is a pitch that was already obsolete when you sent it.

74%

Pitch–buyer mismatch

Projects that look strong on the page but miss what commissioning editors asked for this quarter—format, tone, or window.

78%

Flying without signal

Writers who’ve never seen a curated map of what actually greenlit in their lane—only scraps from trade headlines.

64%

No trust trail

Drafts shared on email threads with no timestamped receipt, no audit trail—fine for notes, wrong for your career equity.

Thesis

One minimum stack: AI + Signal + Voice + Trust.

If even one rail is missing, you’re either shouting into a room that stopped listening, or handing over pages with nothing to prove they were always yours.

  • AI

A story brain that knows your format and lineage—not generic prestige prompts—so questions stay anchored in your bible.

  • Signal

Greenlights and live buyer mandates, curated and matched to what you’re pitching this week.

  • Voice

Hinglish and Hindi-first by default—your language, your room—without translating your instinct into someone else’s idiom.

  • Trust

SWA-ready timestamps, send-to-producer receipts, and an audit trail on every draft you put in front of power.

Who is building this

cross-domain by instinct. Built on the outside, by someone who's been on the outside.

I am Ambar. I spent six years directing theatre in London — Brecht, Beckett, new writing. I have a Master's in theoretical physics and cosmology from ANU. I have directed advertising films. I have built technology products. I am a student of Advaita Vedānta.

I also run two other ventures — Gourmet Planet, India's premium dining community, and NB by Ritu Walia, a luxury skincare brand. Manthan OS is the third. Each one started because the tool I wanted did not exist.

I am not the top of the Bollywood pyramid. I am building this tool because I have watched too many serious writers — people with real stories, real craft — be ignored, underpaid, and uncredited by an industry that should know better. If you are one of those writers, this is for you.
